New iPhone, Small Scissors, Windows

Hey All,

First up, the new Apple iPhone will be released this summer.
the new phone will have the following awesome new features:
- it will be a 3-G phone
- a better camera because the current one is atrocious
- an even simpler interface for the user, which rumor has will contain options like copying and pasting
- that aside, however, there will be minimal hardware and software changes, aside from making it more aesthetic and streamlined, little function will be introduced

Verdict: useful, but not awesome technology.

Next, small scissors

Japanese scientists succeeded in making the world's smallest pair of scissors this week. They are only 3 nanometers small or 0.0000000003 meters. They actually are light operated. When light of a certain wavelength hits it, they close or open.

These tiny incisors have incredible potential, as they are small enough to cut bonds between atoms, allowing them to be used in genetic engineering, and or course, nanotechnology.

"This work is the first example where a molecular machine mechanically manipulates other molecules by light". The progress these scientists have made will surely greatly improve the quality of life in the years to come, as molecular robotics continues to advance.

Verdict: AWESOME TECHNOLOGY

Finally, Windows

Windows as a whole continues to disappoint. Despite previous promises, it now appears that Windows 7 will not be released any time soon., expect it within the next three to four years. Also, microsoft has announced that it will no longer be selling Windows XP in stores, so we are no forced to use Vista. I must say that my enthusiasm is barely contained while writing this.

Verdict: Apple > Microsoft
